The
BFSC joined the Canadian Figure
Skating Association in 1965. The club is sanctioned by Skate
Canada, the sports national body,
whose headquarters are in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The club is run by volunteers. Our prime purpose is the encouragement
and development of basic, learn-to-skate skills and figure skating in
all aspects. We are "dedicated to the principles of enabling every
Canadian to participate in skating throughout their lifetime for fun,
fitness and/or achievement".

Registration for Winter School will be held on: Monday,
Sept. 12th,
2005, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm @ the Youth Arena
Thursday, Sept. 15th, 2005, 5:00 - 7:00 pm @ the Youth Arena Saturday, Sept. 17th, 2005 8:00 am - 12 Noon @ Memorial Centre Click

Parents!!
The BFSC is looking for a parent volunteer
to be a liaison for First Steps and Canskate programs. This is an
important role to ensure effective communication between the Board and
Parents. If you are interested or would like more information,
