 The
BFSC joined the Canadian Figure
Skating Association in 1965. The club is sanctioned by Skate
Canada, the sports national body,
whose headquarters are in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The club is run by volunteers. Our prime purpose is the encouragement
and development of basic, learn-to-skate skills and figure skating in
all aspects. We are "dedicated to the principles of enabling every
Canadian to participate in skating throughout their lifetime for fun,
fitness and/or achievement".
Fall School Fall school will be held from September 8 - October 9, 2008, for Advanced Canskate/Pre-Junior and Starskate levels only. Please contact Juli at 613-342-8848 or Barb at 613-498-0236, prior to August 20 to register. All Registration Forms and payment will be collected during the first week of skating (Sept 8, 9 and 11, 2008). Winter School - Registration September 13, 2008 Registration for all Winter School programs, (October, 2008 - March, 2009) will be held on: September 13, 2008 8:00 - 12:00 Noon Youth Arena - Upstairs Hall During registration, there will be a skate and attire sale and a free family skate will also be hosted by the Club from 9:30 - 10:30. The CanPower Program will be returning to the Brockville Figure Skating Club. Please watch here for upcoming program details, schedule and fees. |
