Amateur Coaches

Our amateur coaches program allows our older skaters to help the younger skaters in the club. PreJunior, Junior and Senior skaters enjoy helping with the First Steps and CANSKATE programs. It provides them with an opportunity to practice their own skills by trying to teach younger skaters and gives them a greater sense of responsibility towards the sport and the club.

An incentive program is also provided by the club which, in the past has varied from skating jackets, fleecies, and Wednesday night dance classes.
